YELLOW Alert:
River flooding: RE, MO, BO, FE, RA;
Landslides and torrents flooding: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, RA, FC, RN;
Coastal criticality: FE.
No significant weather phenomena are expected for Sunday 15 February.
The hydraulic criticality in the central plain is due to the spread of flooding in the valley sections of the Secchia and Reno rivers, with levels above threshold 1, which could locally approach threshold 2 on the Secchia. In mountainous/hilly areas, localised landslides are possible on slopes characterised by particularly fragile hydrogeological conditions, following the rainfall of the previous days and the melting of the snow cover. On the Ferrara coast, further erosion and/or marine flooding of the coastline cannot be ruled out, with sea levels close to 0.8 m and vulnerability already present in the area.
