YELLOW ALERT
WIND: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, RA, FC, RN.
Throughout Monday 11 May, strong south-westerly winds are expected across the entire region, with gale-force winds (75–88 km/h) on the central and eastern Apennine ridges, whilst moderate gale-force winds (62–74 km/h) are forecast across the entire hilly area. Furthermore, during the early part of the day, showers or thunderstorms will affect the central-western Apennines, where occasional landslides on particularly unstable slopes, surface runoff and rising water levels in rivers cannot be ruled out.
