YELLOW ALERT
THUNDERSTORMS: BO, FE, RA.
WAVE MOTION: RA, FC, RN.
On Thursday 2 July, conditions are expected to be favourable for the formation of particularly intense and/or persistent thunderstorms, most likely in the eastern sector, with associated rainfall that may cause widespread flooding in urban centres and localised landslides, surface runoff and rapid rises in water levels, with river levels possibly exceeding threshold 1. Offshore seas are forecast to be very rough to rough. Although wave heights are below reference levels, localised instances of seawater intrusion and coastal erosion cannot be ruled out due to wave action.
