ORANGE ALERT
THUNDERSTORM: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, FE, RA, FC, RN.
YELLOW ALERT

EXTREME TEMPERATURES: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, FE, RA.
On Wednesday 15 July, temperatures are expected to rise, with maximum temperatures in the lowlands and the foothills of the central-eastern part of the region reaching or exceeding 38 °C. From late afternoon, particularly in the lowland areas, conditions are expected to be favourable for the formation of particularly intense thunderstorms characterised by very strong gusts of wind, developing in the western part of the region and subsequently moving eastwards, reaching the coast during the evening, with possible associated effects and damage. The rainfall may trigger occasional landslides and surface runoff. There is also a risk of rising water levels in minor watercourses and urban flooding.

No significant events requiring a weather alert are forecast for Thursday 16 July. However, the possibility of scattered, short-lived thunderstorms – which may be locally intense – cannot be ruled out; these are most likely to occur in the northern lowlands in the early hours of the day, with possible associated effects and damage.
