YELLOW ALERT
Hydrogeological risk: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, RA, FC, RN.
Thunderstorm: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, FE, RA, FC, RN.
Wind: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, RA, FC, RN.
Heavy thunderstorms are forecast for Friday 21 August, with possible associated effects and damage, starting as early as the early hours of the night, whilst a strong south-westerly flow will lead to increased wind speeds in the areas of the Apennine ridge and in Romagna, with moderate gale-force winds (62–74 km/h), with possible stronger gusts or bursts of greater intensity. The heavy rainfall forecast may cause localised landslides, surface runoff on slopes and rapid rises in water levels in watercourses, particularly in watercourses in the western region, as well as those in the areas affected by the thunderstorms.
