Wind: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, FC, RN.
YELLOW ALERT:
Wind: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, FE, RA, FC, RN.
Snow: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, FC, RN.
Wave motion: FE, RA, FC, RN.
On Wednesday, March 18, strong gale-force winds (75–88 km/h) from the northeast are expected along the Apennine ridge, with temporary gusts of even greater intensity. In the central-eastern sector, in the hilly areas and along the coast, moderate gale-force winds (62–74 km/h) from the northeast are also expected, with temporary increases or gusts of greater intensity. In the morning, light to moderate snowfall (15–30 cm) is expected at elevations around 700–800 meters, with temporary snowfall also affecting lower-elevation areas. In the afternoon, the snow line is expected to rise to 1,000–1,100 meters in the eastern Apennines and to 900–1,000 meters in the Emilian Apennines. Offshore seas are expected to be very rough to rough, and localized coastal erosion cannot be ruled out near the shore. Throughout the mountainous region, localized landslides cannot be ruled out on particularly fragile slopes.
