ORANGE ALERT
Thunderstorm: PR, RE, MO, BO, FE, RA, FC, RN.
YELLOW ALERT

For today, Tuesday 21 July, heavy thunderstorms are forecast to develop from the Apennine sectors and extend to the plains, with likely associated impacts and damage, probably more significant and intense over the central-eastern sector of the region.
Along the entire hilly and mountainous belt, especially in the central-eastern areas, localized surface runoff and landslides on particularly fragile slopes will be possible during the afternoon. In the areas affected by these phenomena, rapid rises in water levels in the watercourse network and flooding in built-up areas are possible.
For tomorrow, Wednesday 22 July, no significant phenomena relevant for alert purposes are expected. However, residual thunderstorms cannot be ruled out in the early hours of the day, along with strong north-easterly winds (50–61 km/h) over the coastal sector during the morning.
