YELLOW ALERT
THUNDERSTORMS: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, FE, RA, FC, RN.
On Monday 17 August, conditions are expected to be favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms, with possible associated effects and damage. These phenomena will be most likely from early afternoon in the hills, before moving towards the plains and the coast. Rainfall may trigger occasional landslides, surface runoff, rapid rises in water levels in minor watercourses, and flooding in urban areas.
In the evening, the coastal area may be affected by the passage of a further thunderstorm system over the Adriatic, moving from north-west to south-east, and by the associated gusts of wind.
