However, isolated thunderstorms cannot be ruled out; these may be locally severe, with possible associated effects and damage, and are most likely near the mouth of the River Po and along the coast in the early hours of the day, and then, from the morning through to the afternoon, across the plains and in the hills of the central-eastern region. Furthermore, strong winds (50–61 km/h) cannot be ruled out in the Apennine mountains, with possible gusts of even greater intensity.
