THUNDERSTORM: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, FE, RA.
WIND: PC, PR, RA, FC, RN.
On Thursday 14 May, conditions of marked atmospheric instability are forecast, with strong south-westerly gale-force winds (75–88 km/h), with possible temporary gusts of greater intensity on the Apennine ridges and in hilly areas; whilst in the western plains and Romagna, south-westerly winds are expected to remain at moderate gale force (62–74 km/h). In the afternoon, conditions are also expected to be conducive to the development of severe thunderstorms, with possible associated effects and damage, most likely in the western plains and the area along the course of the River Po. Furthermore, in the central-western hilly and mountainous areas, there may be occasional landslides on particularly unstable slopes, surface runoff and rises in water levels in minor watercourses.
