YELLOW ALERT
EXTREME TEMPERATURES: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, FE, RA.
High maximum temperatures are expected to persist on Friday 26 June, reaching around 37–38 °C in inland lowland areas and extending up to the hills. Scattered, short-lived thunderstorms cannot be ruled out; these are most likely to occur in mountainous areas, particularly in the central-western region, with possible associated effects and damage. Widespread bioclimatic discomfort is also expected across the plains.
