On Wednesday 1 July, intense and organised thunderstorms are forecast, with the potential for damage and associated effects across the region. In the hilly and mountainous areas affected by the rainfall, occasional landslides, surface runoff and rises in water levels in minor watercourses cannot be ruled out.
Maximum temperatures will be on the decline and are forecast to reach 36 °C in the lowland and hilly areas of the central-eastern region.
