YELLOW ALERT
THUNDERSTORMS: PR, RE, MO, BO, FE, RA, FC, RN.
In the early hours of Monday 20 July, heavy thunderstorms are forecast for the lowland areas near the River Po. Later in the day, rising temperatures will encourage the development of thunderstorms across the rest of the region as well, with the highest probability in the Apennine areas of the central-eastern sector. In the areas affected by these conditions, occasional landslides, surface runoff and rapid rises in water levels in rivers and minor watercourses cannot be ruled out, as well as localised flooding in urban areas.
