YELLOW ALERT
HYDROGEOLOGICAL RISKS: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO;
THUNDERSTORMS: PC, PR RE, MO, BO;
WIND: PC, PR RE, MO, BO, RA, FC, RN;
SEA CONDITIONS: FE, RA, FC, RN.
On Tuesday 20 October, heavy rainfall – including showers and/or thunderstorms – is forecast, most likely in the western part of the region and along the central Apennine ridge. This may lead to localised landslides, surface runoff on slopes and rapid rises in water levels in watercourses. Less intense rainfall, with possible localised showers and/or thunderstorms, may also affect the central plains. Moderate gale-force winds (62–74 km/h) will also affect the coastal strip, the sea and the entire Apennines. The sea will be very rough to rough offshore. Localised erosion and/or coastal flooding cannot be ruled out.
