YELLOW Alert:
Landslides and torrents flooding: PC, PR.
From the afternoon of Saturday 14 March, locally heavy rainfall, including thunderstorms, is forecast for the western Apennines, which may trigger localised landslides, surface runoff on slopes and rapid rises in water levels in minor watercourses. Strong winds (50–61 km/h) from the south cannot be ruled out, with possible temporary gusts or stronger gusts, particularly near the mountains and along the coast, with wave heights increasing to very rough conditions offshore.
