YELLOW ALERT
THUNDERSTORMS: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, FE, RA, FC, RN.
On Saturday 11 July, scattered thunderstorms are forecast, some of which may be severe locally, with possible associated effects and damage. The storms will develop over the hills from late morning and throughout the afternoon, subsequently spreading to the lowlands. In the evening, they will mainly affect the central-eastern region, before moving towards the coastal areas during the night, where they are expected to subside.
In the hilly and mountainous areas affected by the thunderstorms, occasional landslides, run-off along slopes and rapid rises in water levels in minor watercourses cannot be ruled out.
