THUNDERSTORMS: PC, PR.
YELLOW ALERT
HYDRAULIC RISK: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, RA, FC, RN.
HYDROGEOLOGICAL RISK: PC, PR, RE, MO, BO, RA, FC, RN.
THUNDERSTORMS: PR, RE, MO, BO, FE, RA, FC, RN.
On Wednesday 9 September, thunderstorms – some of which may be severe – are forecast across the entire region, with associated effects and damage likely. The storms will be most widespread in the western parts of Emilia, with strong gusts of wind, particularly in the lowland areas. In the areas affected by the downpours, particularly in the central-western hilly and mountainous regions, there is a risk of localised surface runoff and erosion, a rapid rise in water levels in minor watercourses, and rapid landslides on unstable slopes. In the main river systems of the region, water levels are expected to exceed threshold 1 in mountainous and hilly sections, with consequent propagation into the valley sections.
